Undergraduate Research Assistant

I have had the privilege of working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and conducting research under Dr. Mukta Bansal and Dr. Siao See on “Faculty Learning Community Enhancing Inclusive Pedagogy through Understanding NTU Student's Perceptions.” I conducted in-depth interviews with students from diverse academic backgrounds in this role to gather insights on campus inclusivity. I transcribed and coded interview data using qualitative research methods to extract key themes and structured critical findings for further research.
This experience allowed me to contribute meaningfully to understanding inclusive pedagogy while refining my qualitative analysis skills.
Undergraduate Research Assistant

I worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, under Dr. Mukta Bansal and Ms. Lim Li Yin, on “Examining how laboratory teaching assistants’ attitudes and approaches toward inquiry-based learning impact students’ learning.” I conducted individual interviews with laboratory teaching assistants and focus group discussions with undergraduates to understand their attitudes toward inquiry-based learning. Additionally, I recorded notes during live laboratory sessions to analyze interactions between teaching assistants and students, providing valuable insights into pedagogical effectiveness.
This research experience deepened my understanding of instructional strategies and their impact on student engagement.
Content Creation Intern
Myndwell
I worked as a content creation intern at Myndwell, where I authored and published three insightful blogs promoting emotional wellness and self-care. My work involved researching psychological theories related to manipulation in Red-Pill content, diversity in media representation, and the neurological underpinnings of addiction.
Synthesizing complex psychological concepts into reader-friendly content strengthened my ability to communicate research in an engaging manner. Working within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and clarity further enhanced my research and writing capabilities.
Data Analyst Intern
Prayojana
As a Data Analyst Intern at Prayojana, I collaborated with the founders to develop a custom survey tool to understand how elderly individuals prefer to spend their leisure time. I also interviewed their clients to capture key insights that informed Prayojana’s service expansion strategy. Analyzing the collected data, I provided actionable recommendations to align future offerings with the interests and needs of the elderly population.
This experience honed my data analysis and survey design skills while deepening my appreciation for user-centered research.
Content Creation Intern
Ramana Sunritya Aalaya
I worked as a Content Creation Intern at Ramana Sunritya Aalaya (RASA), where I helped coordinate a large-scale theatre performance featuring over 200 young adults with differing abilities. I documented the entire behind-the-scenes process, capturing moments that highlighted the performers' dedication and creativity. This experience helped me understand the positive impact that theater and music can make in helping people with differing abilities communicate and adapt to everyday life.
This role allowed me to merge my passion for storytelling with social impact, reinforcing my belief in the power of creative expression to foster inclusivity. Utilizing my photography and video editing skills, I produced a documentary-style video that was showcased at the start of the event.
